Finding Wellness: A Journey to Health Class Description
This is a 13-week online course that will guide you through a step-by-step process of learning how to live a healthier life in the long term. The course consists of an introductory class and twelve group classes, each lasting ninety minutes. In each class, we will cover the following:
- Health Essentials – these are tools provided in each lesson that you will practice throughout the week and the rest of the program. They are related to food choices, movement, and healthier lifestyle changes.
- The course is interactive, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions, receive feedback, and engage in various discussions about the material.
- There will be discussions about reflective questions located within each lesson.
- We will talk about the contemplative scripture from the lesson.
- We will go over any research or extra assignments within the lesson.
- There will be discussions about the assigned weekly health documentary.
- I will provide instructions on how to make regular recipes healthier with examples.
- New information for the upcoming lesson, will be provided.
