Finding Wellness: A Journey to Health Class Description

This is a 13-week online course that will guide you through a step-by-step process of learning how to live a healthier life in the long term. The course consists of an introductory class and twelve group classes, each lasting ninety minutes. In each class, we will cover the following:
  • Health Essentials – these are tools provided in each lesson that you will practice throughout the week and the rest of the program. They are related to food choices, movement, and healthier lifestyle changes.
  • The course is interactive, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions, receive feedback, and engage in various discussions about the material.
  • There will be discussions about reflective questions located within each lesson.
  • We will talk about the contemplative scripture from the lesson.
  • We will go over any research or extra assignments within the lesson.
  • There will be discussions about the assigned weekly health documentary.
  • I will provide instructions on how to make regular recipes healthier with examples.
  • New information for the upcoming lesson, will be provided.
If you are part of the class, you will have the opportunity to be part of a private Facebook group, where you can interact with other participants and Jenna for extra support and interaction. Also, each member of the class will receive personalized attention and support through the Facebook page and during class time.
 
By the end of the program, you will have the knowledge and skills needed to live healthier and be able to navigate the vast amount of wellness information to determine what may work best for you. Plus, you will no longer need fad diets because you will have experienced plenty of opportunities to establish healthier lifestyle habits practically and sustainably.
 
Currently, there are two online Zoom classes with a maximum of 12 participants in each class. One class will be held on Monday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST, while the other class will be on Wednesdays, during the day, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. CST. 
Special classes for private groups, such as churches or a circle of friends, are available as well. Contact us about group rates and minimum class sizes.
